Yim,
Well, I am finally home from my trip and rested so that I can write about it.
The trip was great. All of the guides were excellent and always on time as were the drivers. I had no worries about being left at the airports or stranded in any way.
The hotels were all good. I found it interesting that the only hotel that charged for use of the internet was the 5 Star Equatorial in Ho Chi Minh City. That included the 3 star hotel in Hanoi.
I know that you try to use only 4 or 5 star hotels. However, I thought that on my first trip to Hanoi I wanted to be in the Old Quarter which is the heart of Hanoi. The Golden Sun II suited me perfectly. It was two blocks from the lake which is the center of the Old Quarter. It was in the middle of all the noise, confusion, and activity of Hanoi. I was able to walk to the major sites in Hanoi such as the Prison Museum, the Museum of the Revolution, and the History Museum. In front of the hotel, there was no place to walk because the sidewalks were filled with motorbikes and people cooking their meals. I understand that for some customers this might not appeal but as I said, I was delighted with it.
All in all, I had a most enjoyable holiday. I ate well, I slept well, I saw some interesting things from the Mekong Delta to the Perfume Pagoda and I played six rounds on some very lovely golf courses. I would not hesitate to recommend or use the services of your company again. This is the third time that I have used your services and have not been disappointed any time.
Sincerely,
Neal F.

Hi Mark
Have a few hours to kill at Singapore airport so I am using time to report back on trip
Many thanks for organising great experience of vietnam and siem riep
Everything went smoothly
Hotels selected were all good . We walked in town most evenings and caught hotel transport or taxis back later in evening
All guides were punctual and well presented and with good english vocabulary and knowledge of area
Golf at siem riep, Cambodia was on really difficult course Phokeetra?
because every hole had water which sometimes required 3 crossings
Visited new nick faldo course and met pro Adam Roberson that we know
from Scotland This course is far more user friendly and in great
condition and clubhouse is now open another new course in siem riep
under constuction so 3 courses will be available as from 2009
chin lin star in Hanoi: Good hilly layout with clubhouse at top of hill. 4/5 courses around hanoi all good.
At Long Than, outside Ho chi min city , played the hill course
good hilly layout and some great holes including a 605 yard par 5( driver, 3 wood. 3 wood . wedge for me )
The other Lake course looked super and was being set up for a tournament
This course also had flood lights on some closing holes for late
finishers if required also good clubhouse with views over the 2 courses
food was good but not as spicy as thailand .
traffic mainly motor cycles in both hanoi and saigon quite hectic
little or no pollution or fumes in cities and also quite clean considering the size of population
Best regards,
